Armada has completed a design concept for an environmentally responsive public space structure. The 'LOCI' pavilion consists of a prefabricated freestanding installation that creates a micro climate for people to inhabit and the performance of public space events. The digitally designed canopy floats above an active and undulating ground plane to create a dappled and everchanging play of natural light. The pavilion brings a human scale to the large format city space by integrating landscape, lighting and vertical architectural elements.
