Terrigal Early Learning Centre Approved — Regional Planning Panel Determination

Development approval has been granted for the Terrigal Early Learning Centre following determination through the Regional Planning Panel pathway.

Armada Architects led a multidisciplinary consultant team through feasibility, design development, costing and the planning approval process, working closely within council procedures to resolve a range of complex site and regulatory issues.

The project required careful coordination of planning strategy, technical inputs and operational requirements to achieve a clear and deliverable approval outcome. Key challenges included responding to planning controls, managing site constraints and aligning the proposal with current childcare planning guidelines, while maintaining a practical and buildable design solution.

Through early consultant coordination and structured engagement with the assessment process, the project progressed to development consent with a well-resolved submission.

With approval now secured, the Terrigal Early Learning Centre is preparing to move into delivery, with site works anticipated to commence in 2026.
